Dennis Gulledge will teach the All Comers Class on Tuesday, October 29, at 10:00 AM in the Adult 2 Classroom. The study will be Chapter 9 “Forgiving Others #3 The Peace of Living with Others in Our Past” from the book Forgiven Forgiving And Free The Peace Of Living Without A Past by Dan Winkler.

Trunk or Treat is coming quickly. We hope to have an even bigger turn out than we did last year. This is a beautiful and practical way for us to show love to our surrounding Mabelvale community and young families. This year we are doing the Trunk or Treat on separate nights to prevent stress. If you are willing and able to decorate your trunk and give out candy, please sign up in the foyer. If you are able to assist in some other way please also sign up in the foyer.

The festivities will start at 6:00, but we ask all members who are helping to arrive no later than 5:15. If you have any questions please see Noah. There will also be flyers in the foyer for you to give to friends, family, and neighbors.

Our annual Hobo Stew will be on Saturday, November 2 beginning at 5 PM. Please bring a can of vegetables per person for the stew and either a pan of  cornbread or dessert per family.

The truck from the Children’s Homes will be here on Monday, November 4 to pick up food. Items needed are: Laundry Detergent, Paper Plates & Cups, Tea Bags (decaffeinated), Potato Chips or Cheetos, Trash Bags, Liquid Cleaning Supplies (Lysol, Mr. Clean, Pine Sol). Please pick up a bag (with list attached) from the table in the foyer and return it by Sunday, November 3.

Some ladies are doing a Bible study on Glory by Cindy Colley. If any ladies would like to study with us we will meet the 4th Sunday of each month after evening worship for about 1 hour in the Adult 4 classroom. The next study will be on October 27. If you have any questions see Kathy Gulledge or Imogene Conway.
