We hope you'll give us a chance to meet you in person. Until then, this page will tell you a little bit about what we're all about.
(By the way: we worship together at 10:30am and 5pm on Sundays, and study together at 9:30am on Sundays and 7pm on Wednesdays.)
We just want to be like Jesus. Jesus was a servant, so we serve. Jesus loved, so we love. Jesus was selfless, so we are selfless. We fall short of His example so often, but we believe in standing up and trying again. We believe that that's our purpose, and it's how we can make this world a better place.
Mabelvale Church has been around since the late 1930's. With a history approaching 100 years, we've seen a lot––but through it all, we've tried our hardest to stick to one thing: being the church God wants us to be.
Our main goal for the future is to spread the message of Jesus by being more like Him every day. That means that we help the hurting in our community, be a light in a world of darkness, hold tight to the truth, love God, and love people––all like Jesus would (and did, and does).
We're here for two reasons: God and you. We want to help you find community, belonging, and purpose in all the places you were designed to find them. We want to be your home, launching pad, and haven––because that is what God wants for you!
