We know that coming into an entirely new environment can be overwhelming. If you choose to join us for one of our worship or study gatherings, we want to make you feel as welcome as humanly possible. To start, we want to answer as many questions as you can ask. We can't wait to meet, greet, and welcome you in person!
Our assembly times are above, but we’d love it if you arrived a few minutes early to let us say hello and help you feel welcome!
There is parking located beside and behind the building, as well as special spaces reserved just for visitors. Park wherever works best for you! (There are also handicap spaces available.)
Walk right in! There is just one main entrance to our church building, it’s hard to miss. We can’t wait to meet you and answer any questions you have!
We normally wear dress clothes on Sundays (a nicer shirt and pants for guys and ). On Wednesdays, we dress more casually. We won't judge you however you come, though: we want you to be here and feel comfortable and welcome.
During Bible class periods, we have classes for all ages. Your kids are more than welcome to go to class with kids their age, but they’d be just as welcome to go to class with you! It’s all up to what you and your family are comfortable with.
During worship periods, we all gather together in the main auditorium. However, there is a cry room and nursery available for parents with young children.
Dennis is originally from Illinois (yes, we hold that against him). He has preached for Mabelvale church since November 1989 (he just keeps hanging around). He and his sweet wife Kathy have six wonderful children. We can guarantee two things: Dennis loves Andy Griffith and Elvis more than you do. :)
Bible class assemblies usually last about 45 minutes, while worship assemblies usually last about an hour. After Bible class on Wednesday night, we gather together in the auditorium for about 15 minutes of worship and study. After we dismiss from our more formal assemblies, though, we normally hang out for a while––and we'd love to get to know you then!
In our Sunday morning assemblies, we give everybody an opportunity to give money to support God’s work in our area. However, if you’re not a member of our church, we don't expect you to give. We’re just delighted you’re sacrificing your time and energy to worship God.
If you have a Bible, you will definitely use it when you visit with us! Other than that, just bring yourself and a passion to worship God and study His Word.
Absolutely! We believe all people are made in the image of God, regardless of the things they may have to do differently because of their physical bodies.
If you need help with taking care of your special needs friends or family during worship or want to visit with us but are worried, please let us know and we will be ready to help you when you arrive.
Come join in!
